How This Works
MyDecisionHelper will walk you though five easy steps:
Step 1 - Choose Your Decision (You may have already completed this step!)
What is it that you are trying to decide? Choose your decision situation from our library of ready-to-go decisions, or create your own.
This works for both Personal and Business type decisions. Typical decisions include "Choose a Job to Accept", "Choose a Vendor to Hire", "Choose a House to Buy", etc. You can adjust a pre-existing decision. If you want, you can share decisions easily with your friends and colleagues or even make your decision access the internet to do research on your choices for you!
Step 2 - List Your Criteria (Chances are that we have done this for you already!)
What are the various things that you want to consider when making this decision? List them and assign each one an Importance Level that reflect your values.
For example: "Price" and "Quality" are typical criteria for buying decisions. If you want, you can control how criteria are evaluated and even tell MyDecisionHelper that certain criteria are mandatory!
Step 3 - List Your Choices (Or you can have us do this for you!)
What are your possible choices? Let MyDecisionHelper know so it can walk you through considering them.
Type in your choices, or, on some decisions you might want MyDecisionHelper to use your criteria to research the internet and come back with suggestions you should consider.
Step 4 - Evaluate Your Choices:
How does each possible choice measure up against your criteria? MyDecisionHelper uses patent-pending technology to help you find out!
MyDecisionHelper will walk you through this step logically and efficiently Some decisions can gather data automatically from the internet for part or all of this step.
Step 5 - Examine the Results:
So who is the winner?
MyDecisionHelper will highlight your best choice and will let you review and tweak your answers. It even draws impressive charts and graphs! The Summary and Worksheet pages allow you to view and even adjust your answers. You can generate various sorts of charts and graphs to help you understand your decision better and to help communicate and explain your decision to others.
The process will provide you continuous feedback as you go along. Stop when you feel confident that you have found your best choice.
You may tweak your answers and see if that changes your choice. If you register you will be able to save your work and come back to it later.
If you are ready, let's get started!
